HIGHLANDS STUDENTS!

So glad to be a part of this great school!!

5TH GRADE CHOIRS 

are learning vowel modification, the staff notes and rests, diaphragmatic breathing, 

how to lift the soft palette, and are also busy preparing for their first concert ...

They will be singing a Swedish Song called

Sankta Lucia

Solo try-outs for this piece will be in early December ... 

5th graders interested in the solo should take home a copy of the music, 

pull up the song on youtube, and practice, practice, practice!

6TH GRADE CHOIRS

are learning many of the same things as well as notating rhythms, singing in harmony 

as well as in unison, and preparing for their first concert ...

They will be singing a beautiful Latin song called 

Psallite

which really makes them work hard singing in their high range!

A big thank you to all who visited me during conferences -

Head to choir room for warm-up at 5:45-6:15

Board Buses 

Report to Fine Arts Center by 6:40

Concert starts at 7pm
Anyone welcome - $5 at the door!

Choir Members should be wearing:

Choir shirt 

Jeans 

(preferably blue with no holes)

Any kind of shoes

Get your shirt money in ASAP

$15 shirt

$3 pizza

Xtra $ to help others if possible
