DISTRICT CHORAL FESTIVAL IS COMING SOON!!
We haven't gotten our EXACT DATE yet but it will either be:
Wednesday, March 2, Thursday, March 3, or Friday, March 4 -
I have requested Friday morning with a return time of around 12:30 and then we will have a homemade pizza luncheon served in the cafeteria (with desserts and pop hopefully sent in by you lovely parents!!) The pizza will be part of special school luncheon just for us and students can use their school ID's or pay $2.50! It is always a lot of fun! As soon as I know the date and time, I will let you know!
Any students who would like to bring their own lunch to school that day are most welcome.
They can grab it when we get back to school after the festival before we head into cafeteria!!
I WILL NEED CHAPERONES!
There will be 104 7th graders going and only around 80 8th graders as I am not taking the whole group. Total that will be going is about 184 singers!
I will need at least 15 chaperones - 7 or 8 for EACH CLASS!! PLEASE - if you have any interest or desire to go, please email me ASAP - if I don't get enough chaperones, we will be unable to attend which will be very sad! It will be a great experience for the kids to go!
Mom's, Grandparents, Aunts or Uncles, and DAD'S are MOST welcome!! Any chaperones that are not afraid of a few middle schoolers are needed! Feel free to email me if you can join us!! I would appreciate it!
When I have exact date and time (should be by end of next week)
I will let you know so you can plan ahead with work and such!
NOTE: Chaperones are free to join us for lunch as well although the price is a bit higher for adults!!
ATTIRE FOR FESTIVAL:
Students will need to wear choir shirt, black pants, black shoes, & black socks!
I would prefer NO TENNIES OR JEANS!
I am sending this out early so people have time to find their choir shirt
and find appropriate pants and shoes.
